Road and Facility Lighting

Lighting maintenance and installation contributes to the safety of vehicular and pedestrian movement and helps provide an overall safe environment during periods of diminished light or darkness.

Lighting maintenance and new light installations are most obvious along roadways but also include the lighting at sports fields, City parking lots and City facilities.

Every year a group re-lamp is carried out on a designated city section. The re-lamp is on five year cycle meaning that every five years all lamps will have been replaced.
