Road Maintenance
The intent of the Roadway Maintenance Program is to provide a level of service that:

Maintains a safe travel surface

Eliminates hazards to pedestrian and vehicular traffic

Protects the financial investment in the roadway system by preventing progressive deterioration of the pavement, curbs, gutters and shoulders
The activities which constitute this program include:
- Cold Mix Patching of minor defects
- Hot Mix Patching of larger defects and road cuts
- Sweeping and Flushing of roads and gutters on a scheduled cycle during the spring, summer and fall
- Spring Clean Up of all roadways by both sweeping and flushing
- Curb and Gutter Repair on annually scheduled sites
- Shoulder Maintenance on the gravel shoulders of roads
- Maintenance of roadway structures
- Road Patrol to check on the status of roadways and carry out minor repairs in need of immediate attention
