Property Information Requests
Due to the various conditions and restrictions requiring certain documentation, the City of Burlington does not guarantee the acceptance of any application.
Terms & Conditions
If the property does not have a roll number it is possible you may not receive the Tax certificate for the particular property. Please contact Finance department for further information (905-335-7750)
Some requests are subject to HST. HST is included in items marked by an asterisk (*)

Property Report - 10 business days, includes a faxed reply.

Express Property Report - Responses provided within 5 business days from time/date of receiving, includes a faxed reply.

For Commercial/Industrial and Multi-Residential properties, please add $5.00 per unit. Contact the Building Department for verification of additional buildings and/or units (905-335-7731).

Zoning Verification letter/Survey Compliance - 10 business days, includes a fax or electronic reply. Used to determine permitted uses for Commercial/Industrial properties. A detailed letter describing nature of use MUST be submitted by fax or overnight courier. For survey compliance (Commercial/Industrial/Residential), an “up to date” survey is to be submitted, provide a municipal address with the survey when faxing. (fax: 905-335-7876)

Fire Department

Outstanding Work orders and Violations - most responses provided within 5 business days.

Two weeks’ notice must be provided for inspections of buildings.

Written authorization from the property owner must be submitted for outstanding work orders and fire inspections of buildings.
