Green Buildings
Green buildings are those buildings that are built to a higher standard. Features include energy efficiency, water efficiency, enhanced waste management practices, support of alternative modes of transportation, renewable energy production, etc.

Furthermore, in July 2010, a resolution was brought before Council to forward to the Province of Ontario encouraging a more sustainable approach to the Building Code (CD-16-10, Addendum Resolution).
