Facilities
Located in Burlington's Central Park Recreational Complex, the Centre is the hub for music activities for the City. The Music Centre includes:
- Outdoor bandshell for concerts in the park
- Drumline/Colour Guard room complete with mirrored walls
- Uniform room that can accommodate up to 250 uniforms with 4 people in charge of up-keep
- Offices for the director, instructors, administrator, Jr. Redcoat director and Band Boosters office
- The largest rehearsal hall in Canada complete with sound acoustic ceiling and walls that can accommodate up to 250 band members and 150 spectators
- Music library
- Three trophy cabinets
- Loading room and loading dock
- Three large parking lots and three football fields for marching practice
Programs/Events
In the summer outdoor concerts are held each Wednesday and Sunday. On the days the band does not practice or hold sectionals, music lessons are offered by the City. Lessons range from woodwind, brass, percussion, guitar, and keyboard. All lessons are private.
