Burlington Offers One-Call Service through 311
The City of Burlington has joined the ranks of world-class cities across North America and has worked with government partners to launch a 311 phone service to help connect people with information.
The new 311 helps residents reach information on such topics as parks and recreation, garbage collection, road maintenance and construction and non-emergency police calls. 911 is still to be used for emergency calls and 211 for information on community, health and social services in Halton Region.
The City has worked with Halton Region whose call centre provides the service, as well as with a number of community partners, including the Town of Halton Hills, the Town of Milton, the Town of Oakville, the Halton District School Board, the Halton Catholic District School Board and Halton Regional Police Service. Halton Region customer service representatives will route the calls to the right people at the City of Burlington or any of the partner agencies for a quick and seamless response to your question.
311 is a multilingual service available to residents across Halton Region. For more information, visit Halton 311 web page.
