Bayview Park has a spectacular view of Burlington and has a variety of unique amenities including a leash free dog park, model airplane clubhouse and airstrip and a ball diamond.
Leash Free Dog Park is something to wag about!
The City's first leash free dog park is a wonderful success! The W.A.G. (Where Animals Gather) committee oversees the leash free park operations which are funded by private donations from the people who use the park and local business contributions. For a voluntary one-time membership fee, you can become an integral part of this project. Your name will be added to a growing list of members who understand the many benefits of such a park.
W.A.G. Park Code of Conduct
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all park visitors, both 2 and 4 legged, users must follow this code of conduct:
- Dog owners must clean up after their pet
- Dog owners must maintain control over their pet
- Aggressive dogs must be removed immediately
- Dog owners must stay with their pet at all times
- Dogs must be licensed and have up to date vaccinations
- Dogs must be kept away from gate when others are entering the park
- Dogs must be kept on a leash until they have entered the fenced area
