All fares must be paid in exact change.

PRESTO farecard

The cost to ride with a PRESTO card for Adults is $2.70, Seniors/Students ride for $1.85 and the Child fare is $1.55. Further information on fares and the use of a PRESTO card on Burlington Transit can be found on our PRESTO Burlington FAQ's page.

All tickets sold in sheets of 10.

Passes

Fare Categories Defined:

Adults: 20 years of age and older, and students attending University and/or College.
Students: Under 20 years of age, enrolled full-time in a recognized Secondary School program.
Seniors: 65 years of age and over.
Children: 12 years of age and under. Children 5 years of age and under are free when accompanied by a parent/guardian.

The Monthly Pass is in effect from the first to the last day of the month.

The Student Freedom Pass is for secondary school students and offers unlimited travel from 5pm weekdays and all-day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Please note: Burlington Transit does not accept Oakville Transit or Hamilton Street Railway tickets or passes.
