Inspection Connection: Book as You Build
The City of Burlington has launched technology to allow the building community to schedule inspections, view results or cancel an inspection. This interactive voice response telephone system is called the Inspection Connection, and is a touch tone system that will be linked with the city’s current AMANDA technology.
IVR technology provides virtually 24/7 access for the community to book or cancel a building inspection as well as pick up inspection results. The information is entered by the customer rather than by the inspector.
The automated system allows for easier status checks and allows the city to meet reporting requirements, improving the flow of information.
Inspection Connection now gives you three ways to book building inspections:
