About RecExpress

RecExpress is Burlington Parks & Recreation's self-serve program registration service! It offers you two registration options - RecExpress Online Internet service or RecExpress by Touch Tone Phone for an automated voice service. You make the choice!  With RecExpress, Burlington residents and out-of-town customers can check program availability, register and pay for programs at your convenience, withdraw or waitlist yourself for programs virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How Do I Sign Up?

To use RecExpress you will need Access Numbers that include a family Personal Identification Number (PIN), and individual Client ID Numbers for each member of your family.  You can request access numbers online by entering RecExpress on the city website.  Go to RecExpress - My Basket and complete the online application.  Remember to enter the names of all your family members requiring access.  You will receive a response with RecExpress Access Numbers within two business days.  You can also print off an application form using the RecExpress Access Application Form  available online or at any of our Parks & Recreation facilities.  Verification of residency is required as part of this process as your residency determines program fees and registration access dates.  Call us at 905-335-7725 for more information. What do I Need?

To register by either RecExpress service you will need:

  • Access numbers:
    o A Family Personal ID Number (PIN) (one per family)
    o Client ID Numbers for each member of your family
  • A valid Visa, MasterCard or AMEX Number & expiry date
  • Course TTR Numbers (see program listings throughout the current Live & Play Guide)

Register & Pay for a Program

Full payment of program fees must be made prior to the end of your call or login to validate your registration(s).

Check Course Availability

You can check program availability before registering. 

Place Yourself on a Waiting List

If a course is full, you can be placed on a waitlist. If a spot becomes available you will be notified by phone, and then required to make payment within 48 hours to retain the program spot.

Withdraw From a Program

You can withdraw from a program prior to its start date. Contact a registration centre or program supervisor for program refund details

Forgot My Password Feature

Now there is no need to worry about losing your access numbers! As long as we have your email address on file on your account, you can use the Forgot My Password feature in RecExpress. Log on to RecExpress - My Basket, click on Forgot My Password. Type in your email address and click on Go. RecExpress will search for your account and send you an email with your RecExpress access numbers. Contact a Registration Centre today to update your email address on your account!
