Burlington has many unique and beautiful locations which would be ideal for film and television productions and has attracted a number of recent productions including:

City Staff will work with the production companies, permitting agencies and local residents and businesses to make your venture in our community a success.

Location, Location, Location!

Burlington has everything a film maker could dream of: beaches, escarpment views, quaint village shops, country stores, historic homes, museums, tree canopied rural roads, bustling business areas and so much more, all within a 40 minute drive from downtown Toronto.

Locations include:

  • Spencer Smith Park - with its wide promenade along Lake Ontario, views of the Skyway Bridge, expansive park grounds, gazebo framed by majestic willows, and breakwall which on blustery days can not hold back huge waves (use may be limited in 2003-5 due to park construction)
  • Beachway Park - pure sand beach with views of the City, the canal and Toronto on a clear day
  • LaSalle Park, Pavilion and Marina - historic Pavilion overlooks Burlington Bay and City of Hamilton set in a 57 acre park with walking trails and LaSalle Park marina
  • Lowville Park and Schoolhouse - vintage schoolhouse set in 65 acre rural park with creek, large expansive grounds in quaint settlement area
  • Kerncliff Park - 98 acre former quarry with breathtaking views of the City and lake, cliffs, mature forest, wetlands
  • Joseph Brant and Ireland House Museums
  • Burlington Art Centre
