Come on Safari and explore the Jungle during Burlington's Children's Festival 2012! Play on Burlington's beautiful waterfront and enjoy master sand sculpting demonstrations, workshops, music and fun on the beach. You can also take part by registering in our....

5th Annual Sandcastles Competition

Back by popular demand! From 10am- 4pm, beach lovers of all ages enjoy a day filled with Master Sand Sculptor demonstrations, live music, entertainment, the Annual Sandcastles Competition, activities, games, food and marketplace on Burlington's beautiful beach!

Be sure to register to reserve your spot on the beach. Great prizes in all four categories including a sandcastle trophy - participation gifts too! Pre-register to compete as only pre-registered entrants are guaranteed a spot. Those interested in participating on event day are first come, first served and spaces are limited.  Vote for your favourite creation in the People's Choice Award. Judging begins at 3 p.m. followed by an award ceremony on the beach at 4 p.m.

Day 2: Tim Hortons presents The Children's Festival - 21st Annual Spencer Smith Park 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sunday, August 19, 2012

We're celebrating over 20 Years of the Festival that's all about kids having FREE fun - jungle style!

Day Two takes place in Burlington's Spencer Smith Park. On Sunday, from 10am-4pm, the park will be overrun by Tarzans & Janes & Jungle Creatures! Themed around jungle fun, children will enjoy great activities targeted to them such as:

• Live entertainment
• Play zones
• Inflatables
• Character meet & greet
• Shows
• Kids' marketplace
• Jungle Promenade Parade*
• Crafts
• NEW Infant marketplace & activities 

FREE for families!
*Be sure to come as a your favourite Jungle Character and join in the Promenade Parade.
