Enjoy a wonderful display of holiday lights while walking along the lakeside promenade at Spencer Smith Park. This is Burlington's unofficial welcome to winter event!
This year's Festival is in its fourteenth consecutive year at the park and we continue to reach out to our business community to make our Opening Ceremonies a success.The Ceremonies take place after the Christmas Parade downtown.
On Sunday December 4th, at approximately 5:00 p.m. the event will begin at Spencer Smith Park. Patrons can expect the traditional procession of the Burlington Teen Tour Band, lighting of the CHML Tree of Hope, greetings from our Mayor, Honourary Co-Chair, and a visit by Santa.
The dazzling collection includes over sixty animated and illuminated displays. Favorites include the majestic Eiffel Tower, traditional Nativity scene, an animated train and other themed displays.This is a FREE community festival for visitors and residents of all ages.
