BURLINGTON, ON – The City of Burlington’s planning and building department will host an open house to provide an overview of the city’s proposed new Property Standards Bylaw.
A meeting to review the proposed new bylaw will take place in City Hall, room 247, 2nd Floor, 426 Brant St., on:
Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009
6:30 – 8 p.m.
A brief presentation by staff will begin at 6:45 p.m. followed by a question and answer period.
The new bylaw contains major changes to the existing bylaw including:
- Applying the bylaw to all properties;
- A new designated heritage property section;
- Addressing the issue of graffiti and
- Indicating required lighting for underground parking garages.
