NEW YEAR'S EVE

Central Park

6:00pm - 10:00pm

Join our Festivals & Events team, along with Student Theatre as we turn Central Park into Suessville this New Year's Eve!

CENTRAL ARENA

• FREE skating, courtesy of Tim Hortons
  *ice capacity regulations in effect

NEW YEAR’S EVE SKATING

 SKATE TIMES: 6 – 7PM, 7 – 8PM, 8 – 9PM, 9 – 10PM

ice rink capacity = maximum 160 skaters  

·        Colour coded bracelets are available for all skate times once Central Arena opens at 5:30pm

·        Once a skate time is sold out, NO more bracelets will be available or given out for that hour

·  Families can enjoy other event activities and come back for their assigned skate time but ALL SKATERS MUST BE BACK 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR SKATE TIME – late skaters will forfeit their skate time

·        All skaters MUST still have their bracelets to gain admittance to the skate – no lost bracelets will be replaced  

CENTRAL AUDITORIUM

• crafts & colouring
• giant fun-sized games
• balloon art

SENIORS’ CENTRE 

• Centre Stage Productions presents Seussical the musical
  *performances at 6:30pm and 8:00pm
• crafts with Art Glazed Over
• face painting
• Seuss puzzles

BANDSHELL

• 8:00pm - bundle up for an outdoor viewing of Cat in the Hat

OUTDOOR STAGE

• 9:30pm - Student Theatre entertainment and countdown
• 10:00pm - Fireworks!!

NEW YEAR'S DAY

Tansley Woods Community Centre

12:00pm - 4:00pm

The Dr. Seuss fun continues New Year's Day up at Tansley Woods with even more fun and games!
