Planning a Festival or Event?JOSEPH-BRANT-DAY-2007 1

The City of Burlington recognizes the importance that festivals and events can play in our community. They contribute to our quality of life, local economic development and community identity.

The city intends to be proactive in attracting new events, as well as working with existing event organizers to support the success of their activities.

We can assist event organizers in identifying the permits and approvals required to provide a safe and successful event. Anyone planning an outdoor festival or event must first contact the Parks & Recreation Department to obtain event guidelines to ensure all requirements for hosting an event are in place.

Festival and Events submission deadline is SEPTEMBER 15, 2012.
