1. Can we please maintain the netting through the year for safety?
We will continue to monitor the netting around the golf course for maintenance requirements. The timing of maintenance has to be planned around accessibility to the netting due to soil moisture levels. Large vehicles are required and the ground needs to be firm to support these vehicles.
2. Can we increase the dining room hours?
Dining room hours will mirror the golf course hours of operation.
3. Will there be better menu options then previous years?
Yes, a better menu has been developed for the 2011 golf season. Our menu will be posted shortly on http://cms.burlington.ca/Page5266.aspx
4. Will there be tables for smaller groups in the dining room, i.e. 2 or 4 seatings?
Yes, we will be investing in smaller tables to accommodate more guests
5. We play Saturday and Sunday afternoons and there is an ongoing problem with geese on the course.
In the spring, we will be working with RPM on geese nesting and will continue to use a dog for goose control. These approaches should eliminate geese on the golf course. There will always be the migrating geese that will drop by time to time.
6. Why is the grass no longer cut between the ponds on the 12th hole
There are many areas around the golf course that have been converted to naturalized areas. The intent is to reduce emission, reduce labour and provide areas for wildlife in these out of play zones. We will review the area by the #12 pond and ensure that a buffer zone cut is provided by the property line.
7. Has a Reciprocal Agreement been considered between other Municipal courses?
The idea has been considered and the marketing department will contact other municipalities to investigate the level of interest.

Staff reviews many different options in regards to rates and fees every year, a "family" membership will be investigated at the completion of the 2011 season
9. Would we consider a port-a-poti between 5th & 6th hole?
The area between the 5th & 6th hole is not accessible for the service truck of a port-a-poti, we will investigate the possibility of a compostable washroom. This item would also be review under the capital project budget.
