Steel beam installation takes place at Brant Street Pier
In August 2008, a crane lifting rebar steel toppled, causing considerable damage to the steel structure of the Brant Street Pier.
Damage to 15 major load-carrying beams was suspected, and nine replacement beams were ordered. These photos taken in May 2009 show workers installing the replacement beams to help ensure a safe and well-structured pier.
