JOIN US FOR OUR FIRE DEPARTMENT OPEN HOUSE - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2009 - 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
HEADQUARTERS FIRE STATION NO.1, 1255 FAIRVIEW STREET
The first 1,500 kids will get a free fire helmet. Come on out and watch some spectacular fire and auto extrication demonstrations. Experience a simulated smoke filled room. Explore the fire safety house and meet Sparky the fire dog.
Come and learn how to protect your family, friends and neighbours from a residential fire. Learn how to operate a fire hose and extinguisher. Enjoy many other displays and activities.
