Open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., the Rotary Centennial Pond is an artificial outdoor skating surface that remains frozen even in mild temperatures. The pond is lit during the evening, and with its seven windscreens, outdoor skating on the pond can always be an enjoyable experience. For more information on the pond and current rink conditions, please call 905-634-7263 or visit the city’s website at

During the holiday season Discovery Landing, including the Rotary Centennial Pond, will have the following holiday hours,

Dec. 24 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Dec. 25 – closed
Dec. 26 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Jan. 1 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

While at the Waterfront at Downtown Burlington, visitors can also enjoy a wonderful display of holiday lights while walking along the lakeside promenade at Spencer Smith Park.
