The Parks & Recreation Department will require you to acknowledge a general release prior to processing registrations through either RecExpress service. For all other methods of registration a signature in the General Release section of the registration form will be required. Please complete this portion of your registration form to avoid delays in processing your registration.

Payments

All registrations must be accompanied by a payment.

Waiting List Option

If a program is full you have the option of going on a waiting list for that program. When an opening occurs, registration staff will contact you to reconfirm your interest in that program. From the time of that call you will have 2 business days to confirm your spot and complete payment for the program. If we do not hear back from you or payment is not completed after 2 business days the opening will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.

Refunds

Should you require a refund please contact either the program supervisor or registration staff for assistance. Please note: Parks & Recreation Department refund procedures vary depending on the specific activity. Generally, after a program has commenced the refund is prorated to the day the request is received. Some activities and services are excluded from the general refund process.

NSF CHEQUES will be charged a $40.00 administrative fee.

Proof of Residency

When setting up your client account, you may be asked to provide proof of residency.  Verification of residency is part of the process as your residency detemines your program fees and registration access dates. The Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to request proof of residency.

The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) is applicable on programs where the majority of participants are over 14 years of age. HST, where applicable, is included in the published fee.
