The Community Development Committee meets every third Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Burlington Council Chambers and reports to Council on:

• matters under the jurisdiction of the Development and Infrastructure Division, comprised of Planning & Building and Fire Departments.
• all public hearings pursuant to the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990c.P.13 as amended.
• all matters relating to development and redevelopment.
• the study of housing needs in the City.
• matters arising from the following boards and citizen advisory committees:
  • Burlington Economic Development Corporation (BEDC)
  • Committee of Adjustment
  • Heritage Burlington
  • Housing and Development Liaison Committee (HDLC)
  • Sustainable Development Committee
  • Property Standards Committee
• It shall be the duty of the Community Development Committee to meet as required in special purpose daytime meetings on matters within the jurisdiction of the Development and Infrastructure Division.
