Burlington’s new green map shows the way for transit users, cyclists The City of Burlington has created a new map that includes Burlington Transit routes, tourist destinations, pathways and cycling routes. The green map, created with the help of a grant from the provincial Ministry of Transportation, reflects Burlington as a livable community. New trails and pathways for pedestrians and cyclists make walking and cycling safer and encourage healthy lifestyles. Enhanced transit helps everyone get around more easily. This Green Map coordinated by the City of Burlington’s Community Services Division, Transit and Transportation Departments with funding assistance from the Ontario Transportation Demand Management Municipal Grant Program by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Printed copies of the Green Map are available at the Downtown Bus Terminal, Burlington GO Stations, City Hall, Tourism Burlington and Burlington Transit Ticket Agents. |
