Seniors invited to Seniors’ Brown Bag Picnic, Sept. 8

BURLINGTON, ON— The City of Burlington is inviting seniors to the annual Seniors’ Brown Bag Picnic presented by Bay Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, from noon until 2:30 p.m., at LaSalle Park, 50 Northshore Blvd. W.

Seniors are invited to bring a brown-bagged lunch or enjoy a free lunch provided by Lesley’s. Entertainment will be provided by Mariachi Fuego and music by DJ Ron. Refreshments, and dessert compliments of Copper Country Foods, will also be available. The event will also feature a community marketplace, featuring local businesses and organizations providing services to seniors.
