City of Burlington’s hours for Labour Day weekend

BURLINGTON, ON— Holiday hours are in effect for City of Burlington programs and services on the Labour Day long weekend. City Hall will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, and will reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 7. During this time, a number of city administrative services will not be available.

Burlington Transit and HandiVan service will operate a Sunday service schedule on Monday, Sept. 6. The administration offices including the Downtown Transit Terminal will be closed. Roads and Parks Maintenance will provide regular service over the Labour Day holiday; however, the office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6. For questions about roads and parks maintenance, please call 905-333-6166 during seasonal hours of operation, 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Activities at Parks and Recreation facilities including city pools, arenas and community centres vary over the Labour Day long weekend. Call your local pool/arena/community centre for specific swim/skate/recreation schedules.
