Court Interpreters are available if required, including visual language interpretation (sign language). To request an Interpreter:

Trial Request

• Fill out a Notice of Intention to Appear form and indicate the language you require.
  
• File your NIA in person within 15 days of receiving the ticket at the POA court location indicated on the back of your ticket.
  
• Please note that it is an offence to make a false statement regarding the requirement for an Interpreter on the NIA.
  

Early Resolution Meeting

• Fill out Option Two (Early Resolution - Meeting with Prosecutor) on the back of your ticket and indicate the language you require.
• Forward your completed ticket either by mail or in-person within 15 days of receiving your ticket to the Provincial Offences Court location indicated on the back of your ticket.
• Please note that it is an offence to make a false statement regarding the requirement for an Interpreter.
