Photo Submission

The City of Burlington collects photographs for use in the City's website gallery and print publications.  To submit a photograph, read the following conditions and complete the form below.

To submit prints or slides, use the following photo submission form.

1. Photographs are to be of the City of Burlington.  Any people within the photograph can not be recognizable.
2. By submitting a photograph to the City of Burlington, you hereby grant the City of Burlington permission to use the photograph on the City’s website and print materials.   The City reserves the right to edit submitted descriptions.
3. Photographs will not be used for commercial purposes.
4. Credit will be given to a photographer when a photograph is used.
5. Photographs must be a minimum of 2 megapixels in resolution.  Photographs of 5 megapixels and higher are preferred.
6. Acceptable photograph formats are JPEG, GIF, TIFF and EPS.  Other formats will not be accepted.
7. The City of Burlington reserves the right not to post, or to remove photographs from the website for any reason including quality of resolution and/or does not meet city policies.
8. Photographs can be used by the City of Burlington in perpetuity.
9. The photographer will be notified via email when a photograph is used.
