February 6, 2012 - City phone disruption
Information Technology Services (ITS) will be installing a new phone system in our Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Strategic Initiatives and Festival & Events offices on Monday, February 6th. During this work, phone service will be down or disrupted between 8 a.m. and noon. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
This is the eighth city location to undergo a phone upgrade this year. The phone system was also installed in Tansley Woods Community Centre, Fire Headquarters, Fire Station 8, Burlington Performing Arts Centre and Transit Headquarters, RPM and City Hall. Remaining locations should be completed by September 2012. This project is a joint initiative of the City of Burlington and the Burlington Public Library.
